Since Senior Learners last explored Google's AI tool (formerly known as: Bard) in 2023, it has undergone major upgrades! Today's Google Gemini is easier to use, safer, and far more powerful. Whether you are completely new to AI or looking to sharpen your skills, this short course will show you how to make Gemini work for you. Gemini will help you draft warm letters, summarize long articles, or compose tricky emails in seconds. Dig into family genealogy, get creative meal ideas, or plan your next vacation step-by-step. Get clear, easy-to-understand explanations of medical or technical jargon. Course participants will be invited to propose new Gemini uses, and free SLI courses will be awarded for those judged by the class to be most creative and valuable. This course utilizes clips from YouTube videos and classroom demonstrations.
