As citizens, we regularly evaluate elected leaders and the economic policies they propose—policies that directly shape inflation, taxes, employment, and everyday prices. To make sense of it all, we need a bird's-eye view of how the U.S. economy works. This course presents core economic concepts without complex math, using intuitive, real-world examples that start with the everyday decisions of individuals and business firms. This course uses clips from The Great Courses: Economics. 3rd Edition by Dr. Timothy Taylor.
