Join Dr. Sarah Satterfield, Senior Professor of Music and Humanities at the College of Central Florida, for an exciting three-week exploration of the world’s greatest conductors. Based on a recent BBC survey of 100 leading conductors, this course will dive into the lives and careers of the top 20 conductors of all time. Through engaging discussions and video presentations, participants will discover the unique journeys that brought these maestros to the podium, exploring their impact on music history. Whether you are a lifelong music lover or a curious newcomer, this course offers a fascinating look at the legendary figures who shaped the sound of classical music.
