February is celebrated in the United States and in some other countries to remember and celebrate the achievements of African Americans. Join Senior Learners as we look ahead to that month and hear the stories of Paradise Park. We are pleased to have Diane Johnson and Cynthia Wilson Graham join us as we learn about a time and place here in Marion County when segregation was the norm. Silver Springs State Park was designated as whites only and the adjacent to Paradise Park, now defunct, designated for the enjoyment of the African American community.
