This presentation explores the island as a dramatic stage—where hurricanes of politics, revolution, and resilience collide with the irresistible rhythms of culture, music, and everyday life. We will trace Cuba’s journey from Spanish rule and sugar empires to Fidel’s fiery speeches and modern-day transformations. Along the way, we will spotlight the soul of the nation: its people, its pulse, and its power to turn turmoil into art. Expect drama, diplomacy, and a dash of dance.
