Transportation, Traffic Control and Safety in Marion County

In this course we review the planning, construction, and traffic management of Marion County’s transportation system. Emphasis will be on Ocala and nearby areas. Current and near-future Marion County’s projections will be presented. Lessons that can be learned from other areas of the county (including Gainesville, Florida) will be discussed. Technological trends for improving safety and efficient traffic operations will also be presented.
