Prof. John McWhorter was a favorite in recent course offerings because of his teaching style and sense of humor. So we are bringing him back with his lectures from The Great Courses as the starting point for this series, which will explore such words as etymology, ebonics and eeny of eeny-meeny-miny-moe fame. Supplemental material will include a discussion of the Broadway musical Hamilton, body language, and AI, Artificial Intelligence. This class will continue in the Fall 2025.
