While ancient strategic analysis originated from reflections on war outcomes, its principles are being applied to other types of conflict, as in business and sports. This series of courses is based on lectures from the course Masters of War: History's Greatest Strategic Thinkers by Naval War College civilian Professor Andrew R. Wilson, Ph.D. This second course focuses on strategy lessons from the classic texts on strategy of war, by Thucydides, Sun Tzu, Machiavelli. Each class will include two lectures by Professor Wilson, each followed by class discussion. Kindle versions of English translations of the four complete books discussed in this course are available for $3.97.
