This series of courses is based on lectures from the course Masters of War: History's Greatest Strategic Thinkers by Naval War College civilian Professor Andrew R. Wilson, Ph.D. This third course starts with strategy lessons from the classic 19th Century texts on strategy of war by Jomini, Clausewitz and Mahan. The final class applies these lessons in the Pacific during World War II. Each class will start with a lecture by Professor Wilson, followed by class discussion until a 10 minute break. After the break will be a second lecture by Professor Wilson, followed by class discussion. Kindle versions of English translations of the three complete books discussed are available for $4.10.
