Continuing the series that began in April 2025, expanded to allow for supplemental material to The Great Courses lectures & discussion, this course covers well known authors such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Allan Poe, Agatha Christie & more contemporary authors such as P.D. James & Patricia Highsmith with analysis as to why this genre remains so popular, spanning time and various cultures. True crime, suspense, spies, conspiracies, murder and mayhem will entertain and educate. And no surprise about food; treats will appear in the classroom.
