American Foreign Policy

This course examines American Foreign Policy from its founding through to the administrations of Presidents Trump and Biden. The American Founders believed that each naton holds a separate and equal staton in the world and has the sovereign authority to protect itself. Today, the foreign policy establishment claims that America is responsible for protecting the world as the leader of an International order. This course examines how this change occurred in America's foreign policy throughout American history. The course is based on the free online course offered by Hillsdale College and features Michael Anton, who served at the National Security Council.
