Third course in a series that will look at what was happening all around the world during the period known as the European Middle Ages (aka the Medieval Period). The primary source will be the Great Courses lecture series The Middle Ages around the World given by Professor Joyce E. Salisbury, Ph.D. This professor was well received during a previous course on the history of Spain. Additional material will come from documentaries on YouTube, Nebula, Curiosity Stream and/or other Great Courses. Plenty of time will be allowed for discussion if the class so desires.
