Letters to Mr. Davis: from Thurgood Marshall, Mary McLeod Bethune, Martin Luther King, Jr., and more. This course is based on the instructors book of the same name. National civil rights activists correspond with a local-state activist to improve conditions in schools and to register black citizens to vote in the 1930s through the 1950s.
