This course is the first in a series of 4 courses that provide an overview of epic failures of engineered structures or systems that taught lessons engineers needed to learn in future projects. This course is based primarily on Professor Stephen Ressler’s lectures about bridge failures from his course Epic Engineering Failures and the Lessons They Teach. These lectures will be supplemented with videos from the internet.
