Do you have a favorite book, song, color, or car? The instructor has a favorite plane and would like to share fleeting memories of seeing, hearing and feeling its too short presence in the U.S. It is an SST, supersonic transport aircraft, now only seen in museums, like the Wright Brothers first flying machines. The instructor will offer a brief overview of its development, design characteristics, and safety record, along with such familiar names as Richard Branson, Gen Chuck Yeager, and the FAA.
