Do you know that West Florida once stretched from Tallahassee though the panhandle through Alabama and Mobile across the Mississippi to Louisiana? The capital of West Florida was at St. Francis, Louisiana and lasted only two months. This presentations begins at Tallahassee and ends in LA. We will visit some of the features of the Florida Panhandle, West Florida Caverns, Ft. Pickens, Mobile Museum of History, and cross the Mississippi to St. Francisville, one time capital of West Florida. This is an interesting and unknown venture for Florida.
