This course includes reruns of three videos from the Summer Term Cold War 3 course about incidents when all out nuclear war almost started. Students in that course considered these videos so important that they wanted to view them again and share them with others. Additional time is scheduled to provide time for discussion of the videos. The first video provides an overview of American and Soviet nuclear strategies during the Kennedy Administration. The second the Cuban Missile Crisis from American, Soviet and Cuban perspectives. The final video covers subsequent incidents when nuclear war almost stated by accident.
