Starting with the Israeli Arab War in 1948 the Middle East have been the loci of many different conflicts up through 2021 among a wide variety of combatants. This course and others in the Wars During & After the Cold War series draws partly on lectures from War in the Modern World by Professor David Stone, an instructor for The Great Courses. It also includes videos drawn from a variety of internet sources.
