Do you know the difference between a Matryoshka and Babushka-those fascinating nesting dolls found in Russia and Eastern Europe? Actually, these dolls are a metaphor of the culture of this vast region and knowing about them is a key to understanding past and current activity. This diverse course will explore the geography, complex history, desire for power, and search for identity, as well as art, music, and everyday life. This course is the first of two this summer, when you will travel with me to both Russia and Eastern Europe and delve into really what makes these nations tick.

Please do not contact CF personnel about any Senior Learners, Inc. courses. Senior Learners, Inc. is independent of CF. We have the use of a classroom and support the CF Foundation with donations.
