This course will explore the connection between music and dance throughout history--from folk dances of the Middle Ages to the Romantic-era waltzes of Johann Strauss to the modern ballet masterpieces of Stravinsky. Participants will have the chance to watch performances of some of the most enduring dance-inspired musical masterpieces.
