Landscape Design for Winter and Spring Color

Special attention will be given to reestablishing winter and spring color from the summer color in the landscape. Annuals and perennials for the southern landscape will be discussed to include; selection, planting, fertilization and spacing. The course will include discussion based around landscape design principles for residential landscapes. The second week participants in the class can take a picture of a small area of their landscape, with measurements of the area, and bring it to class. I will work individually with the students to help them design that area on paper.
