John Williams is the winner of five Oscars for composing films over a wide range of genres. He has partnered with Stephen Spielberg on most of Spielberg’s films. Join us in viewing and discussing the film and music of Star Wars: A New Hope starring Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and the droids, Memoirs of a Geisha starring Ziyi Zhang, Ken Watanabe, and Michelle Yeoh, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone staring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, Empire of the Sun starring Christian Bale and John Malkovich and finishing with Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark starring Harrison Ford and Karen Allen.
