This course is the second in a series of three. We will be traveling to the mainland Greece and its islands. Why should we make the journey in our armchairs to one of the most beautiful places in the world? In addition to history, this land is where three continents collide with gorgeous volcanic sand beaches and dramatic landscapes. Using The Great Courses as our anchor, I will present also the culture of Greece and Turkey, as well as look at practical tips for travel.
