The purpose of this class is to provide an understanding of the four countries in Southern Cone of South America (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil). We will explain their distinctiveness, disappointments, and promising global prospects. The Southern Cone is the most prosperous area of South America. Relative to the U.S., it is 23% larger, has 16% fewer people but only 22% of the GDP. Thus, has the room and resources to grow and prosper, but has generally underperformed both its potential and expectations. Lectures will be presented live via Zoom with up to a half hour afterwards reserved for further discussion. Presentations will be emailed in advance and posted on coffeynotes.com.
