The Prelude to World War II is the first course a series of about 12 courses: A Comprehensive, Chronological History of World War II. Go to https://seniorleanrers.org/WWII for information about the complete series. This course starts with the treaties that ended World War I and the Great Depression. They set the stage for the diplomatic and military actions that led to the normally recognized start of World War II on September 1, 1939. Of course, hostilities in Ethiopia, Manchuria and China had started several years earlier.
