Us Bucharest, the capital of Romania, was once known as the Paris of the East. It was the culture center of the Slavic world. But the sad history created conditions in which many Romanians - especially Ashkenazi Jews - left the country. There are many Romanians among us - mostly in New York, California, Florida, and spread throughout the country. I will take you to this interesting country that I have visited twice. We will also go to that mysterious place called Transylvania - you may even meet Dracula.
