Here we will explore Winston Churchill in the period from his entry into politics through the First World War. What issues did he face in his public and personal life? How did he rise so meteorically? How did the memories and legends of his family drive him? This course will make use of multiple Great Courses series, some focused directly on the man, others on major historical events of the time.
