We will begin our tour of Norway at Lillehammer, and I will tell you of my first experience on a ski lift. This overland trip passes through country, towns, and villages. When we comment, hey- look at that waterfall, the guide says- you ain’t seen nothing (sic) yet. We will spend time in Bergen and the home of Edvard Grieg, composer of the beautiful Peer Gynt Suite. We will also talk about trolls and Viking lore. The capital of Norway is Oslo, home of the Nobel Peace Prize. Briefly we will discuss Norwegians in America- and that a Swede and Norwegian should never marry- huh?
