This course analyzes the social and ecological factors that are thought to be critical to health and disease, including socioeconomic status and social support. This course is based in part on lectures from Mind-Body Medicine: The New Science of Optimal Health. It focuses on the social pathways that affect our health. Although it is desirable, it is not necessary to take all of the courses in this series. Provisions will be made for those who did not take the earlier courses to still benefit from this course.
