In this course students will learn about parallels between movements in the visual arts and music, including the rococo, romanticism, neoclassicism, impressionism, expressionism, and minimalism. Students will have the opportunity to look at examples of artworks exemplifying each movement and listen to music by significant composers like Couperin, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, Schoenberg, Webern, Berg, and Glass.
