The persistent question that historically and universally has never been sufficiently answered did effect the creation of religions and philosophies. which sought to attempt a response. Why have none been singularly embraced universally? Is it up to the individual to find meaning ultimately? This course will examine religious and philosophical traditions for what they share in common and where they differ. Also, it will examine the cutting-edge philosophy of Anti-Natalism, which challenges people to consider first what effect will life have for a new child? Now with the latest UN science report that targets 2040 as the beginning of the end of the planet, the question brings exceptional urgency to the meaning of life.
