Senior Learners Inc., presents courses that require no prior knowledge, so they are perfect for beginners. There is no memorization required, and there are no exams or grades to cause you stress, just a welcoming environment and a wonderful opportunity to learn something new and exciting. Senior French employs a whole language learning approach designed to be fun and relaxing. In each lesson we will learn a series of short phrases by practicing them together until we feel comfortable with them and we know what they all mean. Then we will use them to have mini-conversations and to play games. We will also watch short videos from well-known television shows and movies to hunt for the phrases we learned and present cultural topics for discussion. We will also discuss topics such as how learning a little French can improve brain health, improve general communication skills, improve understanding of yourself and others, and more.
