### Travel, Culture and Beyond: Brazil - A Rising Country and Hot Destination * Evelyn Kelly * Tuesday * 6-nov-18 to 06-nov-18 * 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM * $5.00 We will begin our armchair tour of Brazil, the vast South American country, in the exciting city of Rio de Janeiro.. This historical city is symbolized by its huge Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mount Corcovado. It is also famed for its busy Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, as well as its enormous, raucous Carnival festival, featuring parade floats and flamboyant costumes. We will also look in the north at the busy city of Sao Paulo and then south to beautiful Iguasu Falls. If anyone speaks Portuguese, please come to this session. I found the language most difficult.
