The Craft of Drawing in Pen and Ink (color pencils and markers) provides instructions to create realistic light, shade and shadows effect using color. Explore different methods of shading with line, texture and continuous tone. Exercises will assist participants in applying tonal values to block, round, and cylindrical objects to create a 3-dimensional effect. The exercises will provide techniques and resources for using color pencils, markers and mixed media. Class activities will include creating a color wheel and color swatches to develop application skills. Materials: tracing paper, color pencils, or ink pens, or crayons, or markers (your choice), Bristol paper, or color pencil paper, or watercolor paper or any sketch book paper (your choice), ruler, graphite pencils,
