### Navigation Technology that Enabled Break Through Voyages * Bob Holloran * Friday * 19-oct-18 to 09-nov-18 * 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM * $20.00 Several first of a kind voyages were enabled by advancements in navigational technology that will be discussed. Some lectures by Professor Vejas Liulevicius from The Great Courses: History's Greatest Voyages of Exploration will be viewed. The Twentieth Century brought an evolution of navigation technology for the Navy and its nuclear submarines. These advancements will be surveyed, since they eventually resulted in the GPS systems in our cars and smartphones.
