Women filmmakers have been working in Hollywood since the beginning of the film industry, yet rarely have they been recognized for their films. Join us in viewing and discussing films by some of the more recent outstanding female directors: Julie & Julia by Nora Ephron, Awakenings by Penny Marshall, A New Leaf by Elaine May, Prince of Tides by Barbra Streisand and The Intern by Nancy Meyers. Popcorn will be provided to enhance the viewing experience.
