Greek Religions formed the foundation of Ancient Roman Religions, that is, those before Christianity was adopted by Emperor Constantine. We start with Classical Greek religions drawing on scholarship and archeology. Then we will follow the transformation of the Greek Religions into the Roman Religions through to the Imperial Age. Most of the lectures are by Professor Glenn Holland, from The Great Courses: Religion in the Ancient Mediterranean World. Lectures from other of The Great Courses supplement these lectures, along with videos from the Internet.
