The Shop Around the Corner (1940) starring James Stewart and Margaret Sullivan and You’ve Got Mail (1998) starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are similar stories told under the influences of the time in which they are filmed. Join us in viewing and discussing the similarities and the differences in the two films, as well as the influence of the era in which they were filmed. Popcorn will be provided to enhance the viewing experience.
