This final course, in a series of three courses, explores the more advanced type of structures permitted by new materials, which started becoming available in the Industrial Age, and scientific principles first developed in the age of enlightenment. This course is based on lectures from The Great Courses, Understanding the World’s Greatest Structures: Science and Innovation from Antiquity to Modernity by West Point Professor Stephen Ressler.
