Judge Jim McCune and retired Assistant State Attorney, Jim Phillips, will share their memories of legal battles encountered during the preparation of this surprising complex economic fraud case involving Ted Williams as the victim. They will explain the complications that arose as a result pending civil litigation going on between the parties and some of the problems that arose due to Mr. William's celebrity status. They will highlight some of the humorous and fascinating events that transpired during the trial and their attempt to "guide" this strong willed, unique Hall of Fame baseball player and war hero through the "mine fields" of the legal system. As a postscript you will see how this case gained a bit of national notoriety by finding its way to John Walsh's "America's Most Wanted" show.
