### Rwanda: Prelude to Genocide * Bryant Shaw * Tuesday * 23-jan-18 to 23-jan-18 * 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM * $5.00 Between April-June 1994, 800,000 Rwandans were killed in an organized pogram of ethnic violence, executed by Hutu communities primarily against the Tutsi. We will explore the background of this horrendous event; the inaction of the world community, including the UN and the United States; and the disastrous consequences for security in central Africa, which continue today.
