* 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

In just over a year, the 1918 flu killed 675,000 Americans—more than all US battle deaths in WW I, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam combined. Global death estimates range from 50-100 million. Where did the flu start? How did it spread across the world? How did Americans cope? What were the repercussions for America and the world? These and related issues are the focus of this presentation/discussion.
