A Still Life is the best subject and objects for developing the basic skills of drawing or sketching and developing your eye hand coordination. Participants will follow a prescribed step-by-step process and focus on how to plan and develop an idea or photo for a drawing or sketch. Exercises will include pre-printed instructions on how to identify basic shpaes to create forms (e.g., a sphere is a formed circle) in one point perspective. You will use construction and directional line to indicate size and position of objects in a Still Life, and apply tone using various line patterns to give form to the object and to add detail.
