This is the seventh in a series of courses which examines current and projected technologies expected to have a profound influence on our world and our society over the next few decades. In these sessions we will take a look at how several classes of technologies have evolved during the last several centuries and how they are expected to change in the next few decades. We will treat several categories in this course including: The Brain Project, Transportation on Earth and Beyond, Computer Assisted Technologies, Living with Robots, and Nanotechnologies . During our reviews of these technologies we will consider their personal, social, economic and political ramifications.
